		<description>I have tried clearing the cache now also with no luck! I will just trust this is a random glitch on my system somewhere and that the correct icon will show up on other peoples browsers as it has yours. thanks for your help</description>

my favicon shows up on the admin pages but on the actual website the old default still shows up instead. I have closed and reopened new browser windows and refreshed . does it take a bit of time or is there something else i need to do?</description>

If this is not working, it means that you have placed them in the wrong directory (not the site&#039;s root), and you have to define the custom URL via option 2.
